When should I RSVP?

Accepted Answer

August 11, 2023  is the official last day to RSVP.

You can use the RSVP function on this website (once available) by clicking on the RSVP tab and typing in your name. If you know that you are unable to attend the wedding, we ask that you notify us as soon as possible so we can plan accordingly.

Is there a hotel block?

Accepted Answer

Yes, you can reserve a room at any of the following hotels under the name of ‘Amanda & Marc Adderley Wedding’. 
	
	Hotel 1: Best Western Plus Perth Parkside Inn & Spa (Located in Perth)
	Reservation deadline: June 11, 2023

Hotel 2: Holiday Inn & Suites Ottawa (Located in Kanata)*
	Reservation deadline: August 9, 2023
	*We are looking to book bus transportation from this location to and from the venue.

Are children invited?

Accepted Answer

We love your little ones! However, we have decided to keep our wedding and reception an adults-only event with a select few exceptions. We encourage you to use this evening as a date night on us!

Question 4

Can I bring a date?

Accepted Answer

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one, they will appear under your name in your invitation and when you RSVP. Thank you for understanding!

Question 5

Is there a dress code?

Accepted Answer

We’d love to see our family and friends get dressed up for our big day. Dress code is cocktail/formal attire. Ladies can wear floor-length, tea-length or midi formal dresses. Gentlemen can wear a suit & tie. No jeans please.

Is there an open bar?

Why yes, of course! There will be select beer, wine, spirits and non-alcoholic beverages on us!

Question 7

Will transportation be provided?

We have arranged transportation from Kanata to our venue in Perth.

For those attending the Ceremony
A shuttle will pick up guests at 2:30 p.m. from the Holiday Inn & Suites Kanata to bring them to the Ceremony.

For those only attending the late night (drinks & dancing)
A shuttle will pick up guests at 7:30 p.m. from the Holiday Inn & Suites Kanata to bring them to the Reception Venue.

Return trips
Two bus trips will bring people back to Kanata from our Reception venue. Pick-up times from the Reception Venue are 10:30 p.m. and 1:00 a.m.

Question 8

Can I take pictures?

Accepted Answer

We are having an ‘unplugged’ ceremony (no phones or cameras). The greatest gift you can give us is being fully present as we say “I do”. We have hired professionals to capture this moment for us and we promise to share our photos and video as soon as we receive them.

After the ceremony, feel free to take as many photos and videos as you’d like!
